Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Who operates NODI
NODI is operated by DouTech Solutions Limited (“NODI,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using NODI, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. What NODI is
NODI lets you create a permanent smart link (a “Nodi”) tied to a QR code and a public URL. You can change what a Nodi points to — a website (Redirect), a hosted profile page (Connect), or a live verification record (Verify) — without changing the QR code or URL itself.
3. Accounts
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We do not currently offer self-service account deletion. To close your account or request deletion of your data, contact us using the details in Section 9.
4. Public nature of Nodis
Redirect, Connect, and Verify Nodis are public by design: anyone who scans the QR code, follows the URL, or otherwise obtains the link can view where it currently points, the Connect page it displays, or the verification record it shows. Do not put anything behind a Nodi that you do not intend to be publicly accessible to anyone with the link. There is no search or directory feature that lets someone browse or enumerate your workspace's Verify records — access is only through the specific link or QR code.
5. Nodi Verify
A Nodi Verify record confirms only that the publishing workspace currently maintains the record and status shown (Active, Inactive, or Revoked). It does not independently verify the named person's legal identity, and is not a government ID check, background check, or biometric verification. Workspaces are solely responsible for the accuracy of the Verify records they publish and for updating a record's status when it changes.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use a Nodi to point to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to guess, enumerate, or scan for other users' Nodi tokens, or otherwise probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Send automated or scripted requests intended to inflate scan or click analytics, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the service.
- Publish a Verify record for a person without a good-faith basis for the information and status shown.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or use NODI to build a competing service without our written permission.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to your Nodis (destinations, profile details, links, images, Verify records). You grant us a license to host and display that content solely to operate the service — for example, rendering your Connect page or Verify record when someone scans your Nodi.
8. Service availability
NODI is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DouTech Solutions Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NODI.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms, or requests to close your account or delete your data: [insert support contact email].
11. Governing law
[Insert the governing jurisdiction for these terms.]
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as NODI changes. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
